Zaha Hadid Architects (ZHA) has revealed its design for The Delmore, an ultra-luxurious residential tower coming to Miami’s exclusive Billionaire’s Triangle in Surfside. This oceanfront condominium, DAMAC International’s first US venture, promises to redefine luxury living with its fluid design and unparalleled amenities.
Located on a two-acre site at 8777 Collins Avenue, The Delmore boasts 200 linear feet of pristine beachfront. This boutique building will house only 37 expansive “mansions in the sky,” with residences starting at 7,000 square feet. With a maximum of four residences per floor, privacy and spaciousness are paramount, offering residents breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, and the iconic Miami skyline.
ZHA’s Signature Fluidity Takes Shape in Miami
The Delmore embodies ZHA’s renowned architectural style, characterized by flowing curves and organic forms. The building’s sculptural facade, with its sinuous lines and nested crescents, creates a dynamic and expressive presence. A striking flow-through canyon bisects the north and south wings, creating a dramatic entryway from the porte-cochère to the grand double-height lobby and leading to a serene oceanside meditation garden.
A Pool in the Sky: A Feat of Engineering and Design
Perhaps the most dramatic feature of The Delmore is its 75-foot-long transparent swimming pool, suspended 125 feet above ground. Visible from Collins Avenue, this “water-filled bridge” serves as both a functional amenity and a bold architectural statement, setting a new standard for luxury in the region.
